No way! with those big floppy ears and gooffy big cross-eyed pupils, pouty lips and slack jaw, scrunched up little kitten nose, he looks like a confused panda-kitten-satre-deamon... with. it's. head cut off and mounted on a wall.. What's not cute about that?
Thank you! I do use masonite but with tight deadlines it's much quicker to use canvas. Galleries hardly ever give you much notice before a show lol. I do love the detail you can get on masonite. I actually prefer it to canvas
I said once I'd never touch oils: too messy, etc. But I like art too much. I will...just not right now. I'm not ready. I'm focusing on getting good at acrylics. I'm hoping then oils will be easier. At least it's good that the drying time isn't 'quite' so long, heard you can add mediums to speed up drying. Funny, cause in acrylics, as I'm sure you know, you use mediums to slow it down. But one thing about both is true: too much medium is a bad thing.
